Dr. Francis E. O’Donnell, Jr., MD, is the founder and Executive Chairman of Defender Pharmaceuticals, as well as a partner in various private equity and venture capital groups. Dr. O’Donnell’s previous positions include Executive Chairman of HedgePath Pharmaceuticals (now INHIBITOR Therapeutics) and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BioDelivery Sciences International.
Dr. O’Donnell holds an MD from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Currently, he is a trustee of Saint Louis University and previously served as Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
