In his more than 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Michael A. Schultz, RPh, has actively participated in the commercialization of more than 120 pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic products and supported the launch of more than 35 pharmaceutical companies.
Before joining Defender, Mr. Schultz served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at AcariaHealth (a division of Centene) and cofounded VCG & Associates (acquired by Quintiles [IQVIA]), where he held the roles of Managing Partner and Vice President of Commercial Development. He also cofounded Foundation Care (acquired by AcariaHealth), where he was Managing Partner. Other past roles include Senior Director of Business Development at Express Scripts Inc and senior-level positions at Merck, Serono, and Fujisawa.
